gpery started from a straightforward frustration. Back in 2019, a small group of Filipinos who had worked in the gaming and fintech industry for years kept running into the same problem: the online platforms available to players in the Philippines were built by people who didn't really understand the market. The games were fine, but everything around them — payments, customer support, the language, the feel — was clearly designed for someone else and then bolted onto a Philippine address.

So the gpery founding team decided to build something different. Not a platform adapted for the Philippines, but one designed for it from the ground up.
